Sprinting for Signs
Just to wet your appetite for the big one next weekend, catch the hi-lights from last years race. Remember last years winner (Flanders) came from this race & not Gent Wevelgem. Looking at the start list LEOPARD Trek & Garmin Cervélo are sending pretty much their Ronde Teams, so I'd expect some fireworks from these guys. I am going to take a punt that the winner of the Ronde van Vlaanderen (Tour of Flanders) will come from this race and from Gent Wevelgem the winner for Rouabix. I don't think it'll be the winner of the race, but it could be.
There's lot of rumours abound that this may be the last race. Frankly this would be shocking and I hope it's not true. Please visit the E3 Prijs site as it's a beautiful little site http://www.e3-harelbeke.be/ and is worth a visit.
My obsession with the Classics from Feb through to Oct will be covered on here. I love the races in Belgium, in particular the Tour of Flanders (Ronde van Vlaanderen). Paris Roubaix along with the Giro di Lombardia are my favourite Monuments. My own exploits will be on here also, which are small and mean nothing to the wonder of the races over the pave.
